Feed as you need
The foundation of good nutrition for your horse is adequate forage and access to fresh drinking water. Supplement this base with concentrate or a balancer depending on the individueal nutritional needs of the horse. Use supplements to fine tune your feeding program.
Feeding recommendation for Cavalor FiberBase Mix
We recommend a minimum of 0.4 lbs to a maximum of 0.65 lbs per 100 lbs body weight per day. For a 1000 lbs horse this means a minimum of 4 lbs and a maximum of 6.5 lbs per day. Divide the concentrate feed into several portions throughout the day, preferably after feeding forage.
