Cavalor An Energy Boost ensures that your horse has sufficient energy for top performance. It contains easily absorbable carbohydrates that give a boost to blood glucose levels.
In addition, Cavalor An Energy Boost provides amino acids, minerals, vitamins, and substances that are important for muscle activity and endurance. Cavalor An Energy Boost also contains electrolytes for a speedy recovery after competition or strenuous exertion.
Cavalor An Energy Boost contains electrolytes, B vitamins, amino acids, sugars, and salt. Glucose (sugar) is a carbohydrate that is absorbed quickly and is an important source of energy. In addition, glucose stimulates the absorption of electrolytes. Vitamins increase the uptake of oxygen in the tissues and blood, giving horses better stamina and enabling them to perform better and recover more quickly. Lemon, lime and eucalyptus essential oils improve energy transport and are very powerful antioxidants. They protect the body from harmful substances formed during exertion. Cavalor An Energy Boost contains important electrolytes (Na, K, Cl, Mg, Ca) that support optimum muscle function.
To ensure that your horse competes with an optimum glucose level, we recommend administering Cavalor An Energy Boost 2 hrs to 1 hr before performance. For optimal recovery it is recommended to give a second dose immediately afterwards.
Dosage per horse: Ponies and leisure horses: ½ booster. Sport horses: 1 booster. Maximum 3 boosters per day. 1 booster = 60 g

During short, explosive efforts such as jumping and reining, the muscles obtain energy mainly from glucose and glycogen. They don't need oxygen to generate that energy.
Starches and sugars are good sources of glucose and provide short, explosive bursts of energy. This glucose is also broken down again, releasing lactic acid (lactate), the amount of which depends on the intensity and duration of the work. In light work, such as walking or trotting, lactic acid is broken down further.
