STRONG BONES & FLEXIBLE JOINTS
The skeleton of an unborn foal must be able to develop properly throughout a mare’s pregnancy. Cavalor Nutri-Mobility helps to support good and strong bone development. An optimal calcium/phosphorus/magnesium ratio for good bone growth, supplemented by organically absorbable trace elements – copper, zinc and manganese – ensure good development of the musculoskeletal system, i.e. bones, joints and tendons.
STEADY GROWTH
A good functioning of a mare’s metabolism – to get enough building blocks and energy from the nutrients – is important during pregnancy and lactation, so that the mare stays fit and the foal can grow well. Feeding recommendations for Cavalor ProBreed Mix:
Quantity per animal, per day, per 220 lbs live body weight: 1.1 lbs – max 2.7 lbs. In addition to concentrate feeding, always feed a minimum of 16.5 lbs of forage. Provide unlimited fresh water at all times. (These feed recommendations are intended as a guideline only. You may need to adjust the feeding rates bases on the condition of the individual horse being fed.)
Divide the concentrate feed over several portions per day, preferably after feeding roughage.
Tip: not all feed scoops are the same size. Weigh the contents of your feed scoop so that you know exactly how much your horse is getting.
