Cavalor Superforce is a sports muesli for horses that have to deliver performance. With puffed and extruded cereals that are easily digestible. Provides quickly released energy. With essential multivitamins that supply the higher levels needed for horses that have to deliver performance. B-complex vitamins play a key role in energy management. Chelated zinc, copper, manganese and selenium for efficient absorption of trace elements.
Cavalor Superforce is a level 5 feed. Level 5 feeds are for horses that perform at top sport levels. Horses that have to deliver performance, especially at high levels, can use some extra support. Level 5 feeds cover the needs of horses that need explosive, short-term athletic achievement.

Feed as you need
The foundation of good nutrition for your horse is adequate roughage and access to fresh drinking water. Supplement this base with concentrates or a balancer depending on the individual nutritional needs of the horse. Use supplements to fine tune.
Feeding recommendations for Cavalor Superforce
We recommend a minimum of 500 g to maximum 800 g per 100 kg body weight per day. For a 600 kg horse this means a minimum of 3 kg and a maximum of 4.8 kg per day. Divide the concentrate feed over several portions per day, preferably after feeding roughage.
Energy from smart starch
Smart starch is more than just starch. The right combination of smart, easily digestible starch sources is an important source of energy for sport horses.
And not every source of starch is the same. Smart starch is starch derived from carefully selected grains
that are made more easily digestible through flaking, puffing or extruding. Puffing and extruding bring the best out of the starch. Flaking also contributes to improved digestibility when compared to unprocessed grains. This means the horse can digest the starch more easily and use the energy more efficiently.
Smart starch supports a stable digestive balance and reduces the risk of undesirable digestion issues, like intestinal acidification, colic or laminitis. In addition, puffed and extruded ingredients taste better, are easily absorbed and create a more voluminous
texture, which encourages slower eating and more chewing.
Optimal gut health
Contains pro- and postbiotics that help to bring and keep the digestive system in balance. This is especially important during training and competition periods. A balanced microbiome makes for a sport horse that feels good, performs more consistently and can get the best out of itself.
Probiotics are live, good bacteria that support gut flora. They help maintain the balance between good and bad bacteria, which is important for stable digestion and effective nutrient absorption.
Prebiotics arise when good gut bacteria convert nutrients. They support the gastrointestinal wall and immune system and contribute to a calm, resilient gut.
Sport essential multi-vitamins
The right vitamins allow a sport horse to perform optimally. In particular, vitamin E, B vitamins and vitamin C play an important role.
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that protects the muscles against the damage that arises as a result of physical activity and helps with recovery. B vitamins, such as B1, B2, B6 and B12, play an important role in converting nutrients into energy and help ensure the nervous system functions well and muscles are controlled. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that not only protects the body, but also supports the immune system.
Extrudates for better digestion
By using extrusion — a state-of-the-art technology — nutrients are easier to digest and absorb. An easily digestible feed helps a horse to get more out of every meal. The easier it is to digest, the more efficiently the horse can absorb and use energy and nutrients from the feed. During the extrusion process, the ingredients are pre-cooked to allow them to be absorbed and used more easily by the body. Extrusion increases the digestibility of the starch in the ingredients. This starch release lowers the risk of undigested starch particles entering the colon. Undigested starch in the colon acidifies it and increases the risk of health problems like colic, laminitis and muscle problems.
With their unique texture and volume, the extruded pieces stimulate chewing and ensure that horses eat more slowly. The increased chewing stimulates spit production, which contributes to the overall health of the gastrointestinal system.
