Charlie can be anxious at shows, but this has benefited him enormously from what I call “butterflies”; he doesn’t get those anymore since being on it. The proof is in his performance in the ridden heavy horse classes that he does.
He is much more settled, and I put it down to it maintaining the acid in his stomach, giving a far better performance than when he was first shown and away at shows. He’s so much happier, and this has come through in his performance when he won his Horse of the Year Show class at Lincoln County this year. Calm and settled, which I put down to the product and maintaining his gut. Excellent product. We have all the ridden and driven Shires on it, and what a difference it has made to English.
