Does one scoop of feed equal one kilogram?

Jannah Cavalor

Often it’s thought that one scoop of feed equals one kilogram, but this isn’t always the case. Not all scoops are the same size. An average feed scoop holds about 1.5 liters, but this can vary. Additionally, a feed scoop can be used for different types of feed!

For example, a Cavalor feed scoop may hold approximately 1 kilogram of pellets, but a scoop of muesli will weigh much less. A scoop of fiber-rich muesli, like FiberForce, may only contain around 650 grams. This is due to the different densities of the feed.

Remember: measuring is knowing! 🤔
