Laminitis is a condition involving inflammation between the hoof wall and the coffin bone. It is usually the result of a metabolic disorder or metabolic problems and can be either chronic or acute.

Along with inflammation in the hoof, it also causes circulation problems in the foot where fluid accumulates.

As the hoof wall can only expand slightly, this accumulation is accompanied by severe pain. Horses try to relieve the pressure on the coffin bone by leaning back and shifting their weight to their heels.

Sometimes they even refuse to stand up. In severe cases, the coffin bone can come loose from the hoof wall and rotate. Such damage is irreversible. Particularly in the case of laminitis, prevention is absolutely crucial.

My shining star
With Cavalor Star Shine, I can get him shining like a star even after an afternoon in the field! And Cavalor Dry Feet stops him from getting thrush if he does stand in the mud!

Perfect!
My 6-year-old mare always had problems in the second test at a competition. Since I’ve been giving her Cavalor An Energy Boost around half an hour before the second test, she hasn’t had any problem managing it. I no longer need to push her as much and I can ride her with very subtle aids.

Dazzling white
If you have a grey horse, you need to spend the whole day before a competition washing him to make sure that he is as clean as possible! I’ve tried everything on him. Somebody gave me the perfect tip. Cavalor Bianco Wash! It seems expensive to buy but you only need a small amount so it lasts forever! And it really works!

Highly recommended!
Cavalor NutriPlus is the perfect vitamin mix. My two horses and two ponies only get roughage and this vitamin mix. They like the fruity smell and taste and always lick their bowls clean. It’s highly beneficial for the horses and for the owners that these vitamins can be fed in pellet form.

Cavalor Mash & Mix is my horse’s favourite! It’s ideal for giving a quick warm feed after work.

A massive difference
My mare is a Haflinger-Belgian Warmblood cross and she’s really wild, both to handle and to ride. She’s also half cold blood, so it’s really important that she doesn’t get too much protein. After trying out countless feeds from other brands, I decided on Pianissimo - and it really made a difference.
