The International Grooms Association (IGA) and Cavalor are delighted to announce that they are partnering together to achieve a greater representation and recognition for grooms.
The IGA are the official voice for the international grooms’ community. Established in April 2022 at the FEI Sports Forum. The association was created by Lucy Katan under the guidance of the FEI who wanted the grooms to have an official place within the FEI family. The IGA aims to achieve greater representation and career recognition for grooms, as well as to improve their working environment. For new grooms to the international scene, it is important they are able to seek guidance from their peers and education and information from the IGA.
Cavalor really believes that grooms are the stars behind the scenes. They play a key role to the well-being of both rider and horse.
Monique Van Hal, Brand and Customer Experience Manager for Cavalor said “We are delighted to support the IGA. The grooms are such a valuable part of the team that creates a happy healthy equine athlete. We hope that can inform and advise the IGA members through our extensive research and development department”
Cavalor have always considered equine well-being is a top priority. With products created for new-born foals to old age and every stage in between. The mantra of good health, good performance, and happiness from all the products means Cavalor was the perfect partner to the IGA. Cavalor are based in Belgium but have a global distribution network which means all international grooms will have easy access to the Cavalor range and the articles on equestrian health.
Lucy Katan, Founding Director of the IGA and former international groom said “Collaboration with a global enterprise such as Cavalor matches our structure and ethos. We have grooms throughout the world looking after horses at international competitions and it’s good to know that these grooms will have the opportunity to read cutting edge information that will help to keep horses happy and healthy in many different environments”
